Explanation
|
Backup account name |
This is a unique description of a backup account that we use to create the credential mapping for the Vault.
The NFR backup account name is assigned by us and is always structured as follows:
[Your Wortmann customer number]-[Your company name]
We also assign the backup account name when booking a backup package for your end customers.
The naming convention is as follows:
[Your Wortmann customer number]-[company name of the end customer]
You can find the backup account name in various places:
- In the provisioning email, which is sent to the email address of the CMA (Cloud Master Account).
- In the Terra Cloud Center in the Service Information of the backup package
- In the Vault Settings in the Backup Portal
|
Order number |
The order number is comparable to the serial number of a hardware component.
It clearly describes a package booked with us.
Therefore, it is crucial every time you contact Terra Cloud Support,
to have this order number at hand or to mention it in correspondence.
The order number is always structured the same: B[date of booking][numbering of the package]
Example: B2022092800185
- B
- September 28, 2022
- At the time of booking your package was numbered 185
You can find the order number in various places:
- In the center in your order
- In the Technical Center with your VMs
Please always adjust an order with an order number yourself in the Terra Cloud Center.
|
CMA |
The CMA/Cloud Master Account describes the administrative access to our portals.
A separate CMA can be created for each portal (Technical Center, Terra Cloud Center, etc.).
|
Package number |
The package number is the older version of the order number and also clearly describes a package booked with us.
Adjustments to old packages with package numbers can only be carried out by the Terra Cloud itself.
Accordingly, please contact Support@terracloud.de. with the package number and the change request
|
Vault |
The Vault serves as a backup target and represents storage in our data center.
In order for the Terra Cloud Backup to store backups on this vault, Vault Credentials must be stored in the backup portal.
You will receive these credentials via a provision email, which you will receive after ordering to the email address of the CMA (Cloud Master Account).
|
Vault password |
The vault password is permanently assigned by us and allows access to the vault area assigned to you.
You can find the backup account name in various places:
- In the provisioning email, which is sent to the email address of the CMA (Cloud Master Account).
- In the Vault Settings in the Backup Portal
|
Encryption password |
The encryption password is assigned by you and is used to encrypt the backups we store.
Please note that we have no way to recover this encryption password.
